i think it has somethiing to do with what that fella St. Paul said....spirit being willing, flesh weak...and why do i do what i do when i know i shouldn't speech. So, whilst i do think we sometimes make the choice of mistake again and again, at the end of the day as Rich mullins used to say...the reason temptation is so attractive is, well, because it's...tempting....which is why i take grace over karma everyday of the week and twice on sunday's
I'm not sure, although I seem to recall some teaching that implied that those who didn't learn all they needed on earth would continue to learn in heaven until they knew what they needed to, thus I suppose there must come a point in heaven where we cease to learn. Maybe we just cease to learn because we have learned.

The end of learning is to know God, and out of that knowledge to love Him and imitate Him - John Milton
the end of knowing...that scares me, does that mean there will be a time where we cease to learn?
