A place where we are reminded that life was meant to be lived, not just gotten through
what are the last four letters?!
not as rude as I expected! but thanks for clarifying
Yes, He is there when we suffer -- but also He is there when we are calm, or in joy, or silent. Not only is He the Last Resort, but also the Constant Companion. I so often turn to God when I am in extremis and forget to turn to him when I am in joy. This, assuredly for my shortcomings and not directed at you, points to a need that I have to see/feel/thank God during times that feel easy as well.
